Scholarships
Being a HOSA member qualifies you for a number of state and national scholarships. HOSA is dedicated to help further your education by providing some financial assistance as you transition from your secondary to your post-secondary education.
Competition
The cornerstone of HOSA is its Competitive Events Program (CEP). The program allows students the opportunity to complete projects, analyze problems, and practice procedures all relating to healthcare. Through the program students gain confidence and understanding about healthcare professions.

The Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Medical Society at the USD Sanford School of Medicine and South Dakota HOSA formed a partnership in which medical students mentor HOSA students.
